do - "get the reference letter again to say your job is in the same field", since in theory, NIW does not require employer sponsorship. In case you get RFE for your work, you should collect as much information as possible to support your case, including reference letters and new publications/presentations etc. It is show time, so always try to paint yourself in the best light.
