Her hu*****and's I140 got denied, so the I485 expried at the same time. She used EAD already, so she quickly leave the States and applied for a new H4 visa and switch back to H4, since her hubby's H1 was still valid.

It is very important that one keeps his/her valid non-immigrant visa status before I140 approval.
