Questions for passport stamp

The following is my I485 case Status just updated yestoday:

This case has been approved. On August 16, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at [phone].

My question is:

1, How can i get passport stamp done? I need to wait when i recieve my approval notice and go to local INS office? If yes, do i need to make appointment?

2. Why this notice did not say the green card has been ordered to make? When I can get my offical card, I mean how long? (NSC)
