MD/Ph.D in China (M.D.: ECFMG certified)
An national award from China (the first winner)
25 publications in Chinese; 11 publications in English( Not very high leveled journals, but 2 JBCs, 2 Cancer Research and 1 FASEB J. Others are with IF around 1-3). All are first author papers and with more than 100 citations
Invited to review manuscripts for three international journals by the editors.
Chosen to be candidate for Who's Who in North America.
An AACR fellowship.
Inveted to talk on the Education Session at the international conference (Provided the round trip air ticket, accommodation and waive the registration fee)
Active member for AACR and Sigma Xi.
Recommencation letters from US (3), China (1), and France (1), all of them are just full professors, hardly to say they are big figures. I tried to get one from NIH, however, was declined.
EB1-EA RFE was so long that the director was questioning almost every creteria. I was asked to provide evidence for NINE questions, which I think was desperate. However, the lawyer handled that and I was lucky enough to be approved.
NIW RFE was mainly based on the third prone. Also, I was required to provide letters from two or three "big figures" in my field to show my achivements are greater than my peers. I was also required to provide a full list of citations of my papers and "comments in plain English" of my work by primary three diffferent researchers of the papers citing my work from the world (My lawyer said this is the first time she saw this kind of requirement).
My case was prepared by the lawyers. They wrote everything, including the recommendation letters for first petitions and RFEs.
