And here I always thought DEI meant Democratic Employment Initiative.

Something that always puzzles me: proponents of DEI never condemn HBCUs. The student bodies at HBCUs are about 95% black - no diversity. So puzzling…
We don't need to ask.
If the hbcus had to admit a representative number of Caucasians, the blacks would not be able to compete.
DEI = Discimination and Egregious Indoctrination
Even the name "Progressive" is an example of this. There is no progress involved; in fact they actively seek to inhibit it out of fear of losing the victimhood they require.
Their proper name should be "regressives."
These are truly frightening people.
They would have fit in well in Stalin's purge era.
'Progressives' are communists/marxists. They are still playing the same game they always have, as most brilliantly elucidated by George Orwell in Animal Farm and 1984.
