As a customer, once you made the budget, if the No.1 distributor or vendor on your list can not provide the goods, the second distributor or vendor will quickly take over.
When I decide to give PO to some IT equipment vendors, say CDW, if it can not fullfill, I simply send the order to Zones, or Provantage etc.
