In its “base case” scenario, VanEck Research believes Bitcoin could reach $2.9 million per coin by 2050, while its bull thesis has the largest cryptocurrency surpassing $52.3 million. These forecasts assume that Bitcoin will account for a growing share of international trade and play a bigger role in the global economy.
“If Bitcoin reached a modest 2% weight in global central bank reserves, our model projects a price of around $3 million per Bitcoin,” said Matthew Sigel, VanEck’s head of digital assets research
