This is actually a common investment principal for, I would say, 80% of successful investors: Focus and continue to increase your investment on 大牛股，but rotate those losers out.
This is very hard to do for new investors because they tend to buy not so good stocks just because their price look cheap, and sell good stocks just because their price look expensive
