Been doing this for 20+ years. Dont remeber the books anymore. But I feel the experience is the most important. You will eventually find a system that works that works for you. Everyone is different in wealth, emotion, and risk tolerancees. Some love day trading, others trade go with major trend, some do 定投. The technics required for each of these style will be different
My style is long term investment, but trade with major trend. I only day trade to make some quick money for business class ticket on vacation, lol
Some TA categroies I rely on and very effective for my own use
1: 均線理論： Moving average, MACD, RSI, Stochastic, TD sequence.
2: 波浪理論+Fibonacci: One of the most reliable system for myself in terms of price target in short to near term
3: Price Action: Gaps, buying and selling liquidity (aka, support and resistence), volume profile.
I specifcially would suggest to spend a lot of time in understanding Fibaonacci, it has worked extremely well for my personal system
