Just like Stock will not crash from ATH all the way to 50% lower without any bounce. I have been in this market for 20+ years, I have never seen market go straight down (not even in dotcome crash or COVID). Individual stock mihgt do that, but not on major index. They eventually may go down by 50%, but there were many waves of bounce in between.
Similarily, I also never seen market go straight up after a deep correction. This time Nasdaq went as low as 16% from the high (20% if you include those idiot Robinhood panic sellers overnight). It will NOT just go straight up.
More fundamentally, dont be scared of stock moving up or down, most important is to recognize the trend and let trened carry you
