賭博，gambling, 是屬於一種娛樂方式。在Wiki中它的定義是“wagering of something of value on a random event with the intent of winning something else of value", 就是對隨機事件的的隨機猜測，對錯完全是運氣的因素。
交易，trading，是屬於一種商業方式，比如常見的到義烏低價進貨小商品然後加價賣到歐洲，交易者有利可圖，是因為supply demand mismatch。這種交易方式隻要有準確的市場調查，是比較容易盈利的。
股市中的交易也脫不開 Law of Supply and Demand. 比如TA中有一個indicator叫Exhaustion Bar。An Exhaustion Bar is a bar which signals the exhaustion of the trend in the current direction. In other words, an exhaustion bar is “A bar of the last seller“ in case of a downtrend and “A bar of last buyer” in case of an uptrend。簡而言之，在downtrend中出現exhaustion bar就意味著短期內supply短缺，股價止跌上揚的可能性大。反之，在uptrend中出現 exhaustion bar就意味著短期內demand不再強勁，股價遇阻回落的可能性大。
我昨天說SOXL在42-ish是一個比較好的買點，這是一種educated guess-based on Exhaustion Bar。 用TA來說，圖是這樣的。每個綠色圈圈代表的就是Exhaustion Bar。3/15/2024是昨天出現的Exhaustion Bar。在這之前的四次都是SOXL的絕佳進場點。
SOXL自3/11/2010年inception以來，這種Seller Exhaustion Bar總共出現了146次，機率為4.14%。這146次中124次有比較大的upside,大概十天 upside有15%左右，二十天upsid超過20%。具體如下：
SOXL總共出現Seller Exhaustion Bar的146次當中，2個月內ROI大於15%的可能性多達124次，磨磨唧唧不輸不贏是9次，輸的可能性也有，是13次。所以成功的機率是84.93%，不輸不贏的機率是6.16%，輸的可能性為8.9%。因為這是一種基於probability的估算，所以我認為是一種educated guess而不是純粹的random guess like gambling。
