Investors participating in Bank of America's global monthly

fund manager survey increasingly expect no recession at all within the next 18 months, the August survey finds. A total of 31% of investors polled see no recession by the end of 2024, a rise from 19% in July and 14% in June, it says. "Recession concerns [are] fading," it says. In July the proportion expecting no recession was just 19%. That said, 24% expect a global recession in 1Q 2024, 13% in 4Q 2023, 11% in 2Q 2024, 9% in 2H 2024 and 3% in 3Q 2023, according to the August survey.
