FRC 將成為標誌性事件

昨天，Reuters發了一則所謂內部人士傳出來的關於FRC要被FDIC接管的消息：

(Reuters) - The U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) is preparing to place First Republic Bank under receivership imminently, a person familiar with the matter said on Friday, sending shares of the lender down more than 40% in extended trading.

The U.S. banking regulator decided the troubled regional lender's position has deteriorated and there is no more time to pursue a rescue through the private sector, the source told Reuters, requesting anonymity because the matter is confidential.

這個insider的行為實在讓人側目，竟把有保密協議的消息私下公布給記者。不管是因為利益還是信仰，這樣做都是極其缺乏職業道德的。雖然這個insider給的消息很有含金量，但因其做事沒底線，我會對他提供的消息持懷疑態度。

基於以上判斷，個人認為，Reuters昨天發的消息，很可能是華爾街製造的煙幕。有點像當年Rothschild刻意隱瞞拿破侖在Waterloo戰敗的消息，故意提前大量賣出股票，導致其他投資者因恐慌而拋售。然後Rothschild在倫敦股市崩盤的時候進場抄底，一戰成名。

同樣的操控手段，同樣的股市反應，曆史總是驚人的相似。今天再看新聞，FRC一下子多出兩個buyers

(Reuters) -The U.S. Federal Deposit Insurance Corp has asked banks including JPMorgan Chase & Co and PNC Financial Services Group to submit final bids for First Republic Bank by Sunday after gauging their initial interest earlier in the week, Bloomberg News reported.

The banking regulator reached out to banks late on Thursday seeking indications of interest, including a proposed price and estimated cost to the agency's deposit insurance fund, the report said.
