    To list your house on the MLS without a traditional realtor, you need to use a flat fee MLS company that will handle the listing process on your behalf for a smaller fee compared to a full-service agent. 
     
    I recently got good tanents after listing on both MLS (I am a realtor)and Zillow, have the following experience:
     
    1. Get good photos  in order to get more views.
    2. Make the house ready to move in.3. Tenants brought by realtors are not good enough, but tanents who find your house from MLS by
    themselves are more than Zillow,, and are better qualifed. 
     
    You can ask realtor to forward these tanents to you directly, the listings can be expired without paying commssioon. You just pay Flat fee MLS
