And today yes, wife's birthday, and we missed flight from Chicago to Madrid, by 10 mins, The counter guy closed the counter early and we were exactly 1 hr prior departure and he said too late and counted as no show.
Originally I booked RT flight with Iberia biz class round trip, so I called the 800 number they said the return leg still good, so we find out in 11 days.
So while standing at Chicago airport, I scramble to find a night flight to get us to Spain, And the AA website is down, So I call American airline executive platinum line and the girl at the other end found us 2 biz class seat to London.
Yes she found 2 biz class seats on next flight to London, 57500 miles +25$ Each, the platinum desk really did there job today.
Lol, what a day, will be landing in London soon.
