事情是這樣的:去年我的租戶的洗衣機漏水,導致出租房被淹了。我通過房東保險拿到了賠償。我的保險公司問我房子被淹的原因,我如實告知了他們。然後他們要求提供我租戶的rental insurance policy number和租約,我也提供了這些信息。現在Subrogation Service給我發email,說
“xx insurance has referred your claim to me for subrogation. We are attempting to get reimbursement from your tenants xx and xx.
I would appreciate your assistance and am seeking any application or identifiable information you may have for them. We had that they were insured at the time of the accident however have not responded to their insurance company.
I appreciate any information you could provide."
看起來應該是我的保險公司找租客的rental insurance company賠償,但是租客沒有配合他們。我的問題如下:
1. 現在我是否應該將租戶的application給subrogation?application上麵有租客的SSN和driver license number,把這些給subrogation是違法的吧?
2. 我應該怎麽給subrogation回信呢?還是就不回信?他們一個月前發了email,我一直沒有回,昨天subrogation又發了一遍給我。
3.subrogation service會一直找租客賠償嗎?我拿到的賠償金是兩萬多,租客手頭不寬裕,估計拿不出兩萬多。那我明年還應該跟租客續約嗎?
