幫我診斷一下這個下水的問題

一個split style的房子， 60年代，有個den, 裏麵一個洗衣房加半個衛生間。 toilet平時下水正常， 但是洗衣機放水的時候，水會從toilet滿出來。 叫了一個plumber, 用了snaker, 說通40feet， 通不過去了， 說sewer line應該是堵了， 要麽是樹根，要重新挖出來換新的。那就是個大工程了。

大家幫忙會診一下， 怎麽樣比較好。謝謝。
