lately, AMEX been given out some really generous offers, few days ago I posted a 200k AMEX Biz Gold link for 15k spending, which was historic high.
also the AMEX biz Plat, lately many 200-250-300k offers have been floating around on the internet, 300k offers generally via paper mailing, 250k I have seen mostly in private or targeted offers, 200k there were some public links but they usually quickly expired.
this month I closed several cards but I also opened 5 more new AMEX cards, 1 blue at 50k no annual fees, 1 gold at 200k with $375 annual fees, and 3 biz plats, all via 250k private offers, to check that you can log in to your AMEX account, go to cards-business cards section, see if you qualify, so you may want to check that out.
in the past, AMEX only allowed you to have 6 charge cards, but that rule may have relaxed a bit currently I have 6 plats, 2 golds 2 blues, and 3 Hiltons, just under 1 SSN, but with different EIN. so if I meet all the spending requirements in the next 90 days, I'll be racking in 1 million AMEX points, worth $15,000-20,000, enough to fly to Europe RT 4-5 times in Biz class.
so a family of 4, can easily rack in 50-100k USD worth of bonus points in one year, some may argue that the high annual fees, but if you able to utilize the benifits, you can usually come out ahead.
