PTO fee is $375. Attorney fees vary from case to case but it is not a patent so attorney fees are not nearly as high as filing a patent. In most cases an examining attorney will begin examine the mark 4 months after filing. Office actions back and forth but should not take more than a couple of months. Once approved by the examining attorney, the mark will be published in Official Gazatte for public notice. If within a month or so no opposition is filed, then the mark will be officially registered within about 3 months. So you are looking at about a year or so, but once you filed, you can put something like "trademark pending" on the product.
