My buddy is a VP of a Wind Turbines company in China. They are doing very well in US market. I did some research in the area and would like to share with friends here.

Few things should keep in mind:
Location: good wind!! – Most lands with good wind have been taken. If you just found a land with good wind, luck of you!!
Survey: Have to have the wind history in the past 10 years, and one or two-year’s monitoring down the road from wind specialists
Existing transmission lines available
Government support confirmed
Local energy company support confirmed
Operation and production confirmed
Maintenance and monitoring
Financial
