there are many people in the same or similar situations like you, but for every one of you, the damages are simply too small to commence a meaningful law suit. that's why a class action might be a good choice.

if you win, you personally would not recovery much, the lawyers that represent "the class" takes the most. but this is your best chance in collectively making a change of policy in a company like Ebay.

you can call your local State Bar, and ask for some references for class action lawyers.
