I guess your box is not Windows XP Professional but a
Winows XP Home Editor. The issue is cause by a function "catch word by mouse" which use a lot of memory.

You must
1) change the catch model on Configuration GUI, or
2) press Ctrl+Alt+F1 to close the function.
