The 24-pin power supply plug

is actually 20-pin + 4pin. The two plugs are attached
to each other. You can simply separate them. Take a
close look at the 24-pin you'll know how to separate
them. Normally you don't have to separete them unless
there is no space surround the 20-pin socket on the
motherboard.
