Some assumptions:
1. you've copied the content of the Windows XP installation CD onto your drive D: and drive D: is in FAT16 or FAT32.
2. your computer has a floppy disk drive.
3. you have a bootable DOS disk.

Procedure:
1. boot your computer with the DOS disk.
2. format drive C:.
3. install Windows XP.
