You do not need to download software, if you are running on Win XP or 2000, you may configure it by going to Control Panel - Reginal Options - "Input Locales" tab - click "Add" button - choose "Input Locale" as Chinese and Keyboard as whichever works for you. You may need Win XP or 2000 installation disk once it asks you for. Once you got this configured and make it work properly, you may input Chinese in any of your applications. Good luck.
