either your new memory is not installed probably or your video card is loose.

My recommandation is

1. remove your memory and reinsert to the memory slot - you have to make sure the they are tightly installed

2. Remove your video card and do the same.

3. If everything failed, test your memory. It may be damaged. Use a program called memtest86. let it run for 2 hours. It will tell you the condition of your memory modules.

I had this problem twice. One is memory related. Second is video card related. Video card became loose after I accidentally drop my computer to floor from my desk.
