I’m a high school kid taking

JAVA course.

At school, I used the teacher’s computer to compiler & run a simple JAVA program, HelloWorldAPP, it is working fine.

I set up JAVA environment in my home computer by downloading from the Sun’s web-site; I got some problems. The JAVA source code can compile due to the “PATH setting up is ok to direct where is BIN”, but run this file “xx.class” wouldn’t go through. This is under DOS environment.

I typed “set classpath=c:\xx\jdk\classes;”, according to the textbook told me, anything wrong? Do I direct the right place?

Second question:

Under DOS, if I type “asadmin”, I can see the “domain1” is working, anything can I do under this environment?

Third question:

Sun’s SDK/IDE seems OK due to the window background popup, can anyone give me a demo program to check the environment is functional?

This is my last year in high school the SAT test in a month. Try here & there wasted my lots of time. Please help me.
