MSN firewall problem?

I don't have this problem with MSN 6.2. I guess the newer version, 7.0 should also work across firewall. However, I do experience reliability problem with MSN. Voice chat is cut off more frequently comparing to YM. Yahoo Messenger(YM), which never had firewall problem, is much better. It has offline messenge, which MSN doesn't support.
