2. in the menue click on "tools"

3. choose "fold options...", now u can see a dialog window popup.

4. in the dialog window, click on "view" tab

5. in advanced settings. find a check box "Hiding extentions for known file types", uncheck it.

6. now you can go ahead and change your file name with .rm file.
