I am not sure what's the reason the motor stopped spin.
I have tried to replace the controller board for the hard drive, but did not fix the problem. after I changed the board, I connect it to the computer, I get music sound from the hard drive, but BIOS can not detect it.

It is a maxtor 80gb hard drive. you are right, If send the HD to datacom to recovery will cost a lot $.

Thank you for your help. I know it is very hard to find a way....but maybe somebody has good idea so I tried here to looking for help... thanks again.
