looking for dispplay software

I'm looking for a software, which can send one of several windows to secondary monitor.
For example: A computer is connected to a projector, and showing a powerpoint slide show. Another powerpoint file need to be loaded from a media drive, and be edited at the same time. Don't want the audience see the loading and editing going on.
Is there such thing?
