it meant when your computer boots up, hit f2 or del, depends on what bios it uses to enter bios and set it to boot first from cd/dvd...

curious, do you have a floppy drive and there's a bootable floppy inside?

anyways, recovering does nothing but setting your computer to the factory default, probably you'd be better off setting up the computer to your needs by installing os, drivers, software etc ?
