問個困惑我好幾天的MATLAB問題

最近處理一些數據（35M），可是在MATLAB裏LOAD不上，總是說‘out of memory’。我的機子內存1G，硬盤40G，足夠大。不知道為什麽！
然後我laod了一個小點兒的文件（15M左右），laod上去之後在workspace區一看大小是500多M。唉呀，為什麽MATLAB無辜給我擴大了這麽多！！
請幫幫忙吧！不勝感激！
