Why can't display ASP file ?

Just installed IIS on XP home edition.
The problem is:

http://localhost/file1.html can be displayed.

But:
http://localhost/file2.asp can't be displayed.
It reads:
"The page cannot be displayed. There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed".
