insert point jumps, help!!!

i have 2 laptops. but both of them have problems:
When i type letters, the insertion point jumps a lot. I have to try to find where it is because i'm typing somewhere else now. It is messing up my paper. i'm really 鬱悶!!
Help me, please!!! 大狹!!!
