How to access boot.ini?

Hi, Everybody:

I have three questions:

1. I re-formated and re-installed the Windows 2000 Server on drive C (drive D: Windows 2000 Professional). Before the re-installation, after boot, on the O.S List, I have two options for the O.S.: the Server and the Professional, but now I lost the List and have only one option: the Server.

On the Wen Xue City, for solving the trouble, a friend told me to access the file boot.ini to add a line on C:
"multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)...,
Q1: How to access the file boot.ini? From the Start | Serach, I can't find the file.
Q2: Could I back up the older file boot.ini on a 3.5" floppy disk? Could I use the floppy disk to reboot the O.S. on the emergency situation?

2. Now I use the Internet Cable service to instead of the DSL service, then I use the same Wireless box to connect the Internet modem to my PC. After I installed the software of the Wireless box to the Windows 2000 Server, I lost the small Show Icon, which locates on the rightest-bottom on the desktop. Now I can't use the Internet service on the Windows 2000 Server. I have not find any trouble when installing. My questoin is:
Q3: Do I need install the software for the Internet Cable service to my PC? I still use the same Wireless box to connect my PC now. I think I don't need to re-install the software, because I don't directly connect the modem.
