dsl: SBC yahoo, $26.95 / month, 12 months contract. advertised 1.5M download, 500K ~ 1M in reality. $75 mail-in rebate if sign up from Dell.com

cable: earthlink, $41.95 / month, no contract. advertised 3M download (in time warner network), ~2.8M in reality. most area have 1 month free promotion.
