need help for laptop memory

my laptop is broken. I found it is the problem of my current memory .
it is 256 MB of DDR SDRAM memory.I opened it, it is said 256 MB PC2700 DDR.
is that any memory for PC2700 will work for me? can anyone suugestsome web
site for purchasing the memory for laptop? thanks a lot.
