You cannot burn a copy of a commercial DVD because it's encrypted.

(1) You have to rip the DVD first by using special software and compress it (from DVD-9 to DVD-5: commercial DVD are DVD-9S (2 layers) while most DVD-R or DVD+R are DVD-5 (1 layer)). Recommend DVD Shrink which is free.

(2) To burn, you need another software. Recommend Nero.
