Need help on accessing HD!!!

I tried to use Partition magic 7.0 to merge my logical drive D with primary drive C, however, my computer hung when the merging process went 15%, and I have to restart my PC, then I can't access to drive D now. Is there any special tool I can use to access to my old logical drive D so I can backup some files from it?
