if it doesn't help, use Character Map (Start -> Accessories -> System Tools ), select your type font, determine that it has the © symbol,
select and copy it to the clipboard, and then paste that into ps

(If you can't find Character Map, it can be installed thru the Control Panel Add/Remove programs.)
