deleted it

i found out it came with a downloaded unspecific freeware by reading its licensing txt file. first killed the relating process and delete the folder but still no go. unable to empty recycle bin due to VX2, fixed it and then rebooted but win xp failed to restart. got in safe mode and then put up all protections and guards, used firefox to download its own uninstaller and removed the program. deleted all related files and empty the recycled bin. let's see if there are still more AD popups in the next few days.

just one thing, an icon in control panel was missing after all of this. I don't know which icon was gone and what caused this. there is just a empty slot. what icon could it be?
