It all depends on what you want to do with it.For casual gaming the Geforce FX 5700 256mb ( US$80-110 at some online stores )will do the job, if you want a faster memory speed the FX 5900XT 128mb is better ($179-200 ) Anything higher such as 6600GT or 6800 are for the pro and serious gamer but the price is sky high ($350-600 ) I find they are over priced. Asus,eVGA,Chaintech,MSI,Gainward and Gigabyte are all good Video card makers.I use the Chaintech Geforce FX5900 XT 128mb myself and I play games almost every day,it is one of the best in terms of pictures and speed, at least better than my old Asus Geforce 4 Ti 200.
