there is a card out there that claims it can decrypt satelliet. Which means you buy a dish from them, a PCI card from them, and hook it up to your computer, it will decrypt programs. I have friends who run Linux and was able to get it to decrypt some of the channels, not ALL of the channels. Also there are similar products for Cable.

But, all of these activities are illegal and can be prosecuted by law.
