Problem solved by reinstalling acrobat reader. Since there some people argued which is better between firefox and internet explorer. At least for firefox, there is no choice (or maybe I did not find) to manually add plugin, i.e. you create your own file extension and define which program will be used to open this class of files. Otherwise, firefox is okay.
