鼠標USB口轉串口不工作

筆記本沒有PS2鼠標接口,所以買了個USB/串口轉換器,但是插在電腦上後,鼠標還是不工作(重啟後也不認).是否需要特殊的鼠標驅動程序??我的電腦是XP的操作係統.給點建議,先多謝各位大蝦了.
