1) go control panel, system
2) go to hard ware folder
3) expand IDE at/atapi controller
4) highlight those with question marks and delete
5) restart system and boot with winme CD
6) boot from CD
7) make folder like win9x under c: root
8) copy folder "win9x" files to c: drive
9) restart system and boot from hard drive
10) system should prompt you for new drivers for IDE
11) point the location to "c:\win9x"
12) done
