victims of the same mobo

I think I have the same mobo but the pro version. It's weird, it crashes whenever it's kind of idle (While I'm not typing or moving the mouse etc., but some app may be running).
The work around is to run quake 3 arena and leave it running in the back ground. This way it will never crash. I later on learned that this is due to (maybe) the buggy chipset drivers. Anyway finally it failed to start and gave some bad drive error every time I boot.
Got a dell and using that now. Will try linux on this one when I have time.
