Sorry again, how to format

Tks for the former reply, but i already used recover CD.

I have to format my laptop, but last yr when i had it repaired, these repairmen changed sth inside, so when I use my RECOVER CD, it shows:

Data requires fm Drive D missing, pls. contact Compaq service center.

I am so frustrated. Any expert gives some advice,pls., and tks a million.
