First if you want to store thouands personal photos on your computer, it deals with your Hard Disk Drive, not Memory(RAM). Buy a big HDD 120G or what ever.

Second want to your computer virus free? install a virus scan, like Norton AnitVirus, or McAfee VirusScan, or etc...

Third install MS Media Player or RealOne
